Why Relationship Coaching in NH Is For You

relationship coaching NHSpring has arrived in New England.  Fresh air means a fresh start and possibly a new beginning.  It is the perfect time of year to get out there and try something new.  Together® offers unique relationship coaching in New Hampshire that stands apart from the rest.  Introducing people with a human element is key to a successful relationship.  Even if you have reserves, what better way to have some fun with someone new, than to go dancing! Overcoming nerves and jumping back into the dating scene is easier when line dancing.  Line dancing dates back to 1650 but has gained growing popularity in the United States since the 1970s.

    Origins

Similar to modern-day country line dancing, the first recorded dance instructions date back to 1650.  Although certain to have roots which date further back, the instructional dance was first written in Europe.  It was not until immigrants began coming to the United States that any recorded dance instruction started here.

    Modern Day

Modern-day line dancing came about during the disco era of the 1970s.  A true choreographed dance, the Electric Slide paved the way for many more dances.  Social clubs, night clubs, folk dances, and wedding receptions soon became popular hosts to the growingly popular dance.  Songs such as Walkin’ Wazi and the Cowboy Boogie were household tunes.

    Technique

Intended for a group of individuals, the line dance is perfect for those with dancing, or dating, jitters.  Essentially performed alone, line dancing involves participants to gather in one or more lines (hence the name).  Facing one another, or in the same direction, everyone repeats the same movements in sync with no physical contact.  Thus, the dance helps to eliminate nerves of having a dance partner if you’re not quite ready for that step.

    Together NH

Together NH frequently hosts line dancing events.  These events are an excellent way to socialize and ease back into the dating scene.  All events begin at 8:00 pm, however, should you choose, a brief class is typically offered an hour ahead of start time.  This allows you to overcome fears of two left feet as well as meet individuals that will also be attending the event.
